1. Standard Coverage
Oalt EV Technology Pvt. Ltd. guarantees that every new Electric Cycle and its core electrical components are free from manufacturing, material, and workmanship defects under normal riding conditions. The warranty period begins from the date of delivery.
2. Component Breakdown
Our comprehensive warranty is divided based on the lifespan and usage of different components:
Lithium-Ion Battery
1 Year Warranty
Covers dead cells, BMS (Battery Management System) failure, and inability to hold charge. Normal capacity degradation (up to 20% over 1 year) is standard and not covered.
BLDC Hub Motor
1 Year Warranty
Covers internal coil burnout, hall sensor failures, and mechanical jamming under normal payload capacity.
Controller & Charger
1 Year Warranty
Covers manufacturing faults preventing power delivery or charging.
Chassis / Frame
Lifetime Warranty
Covers structural cracks or weld failures under standard city and light off-road commuting.
3. What is NOT Covered
To keep our policies fair, standard wear-and-tear items and accidental damages are excluded from the warranty:
- Consumables: Tires, tubes, brake pads, brake cables, chains, pedals, and grips.
- Physical Damage: Scratches, dents, broken plastics (like mudguards or lights) caused by falls, accidents, or improper handling.
- Water Damage: While our components are IP65/IP67 rated for rain, complete submersion in water or pressure-washing the battery/display will void the warranty.
- Electrical Surges: Battery or charger damage caused by using local/unauthorized chargers or severe power grid fluctuations at your home.
4. Actions That Void the Warranty
Your warranty will be immediately considered null and void if:
1. Unauthorized Modifications: Splicing wires, overriding the 25km/h speed limit controller, or adding high-voltage aftermarket batteries.
2. Commercial Abuse: Using standard commuter models for heavy cargo loading, racing, or stunts.
3. Serial Number Tampering: Erasing or scratching off the chassis VIN or Battery Serial Number.

Record the Issue
Take a clear, 1-minute video showing the exact problem (e.g., display not turning on, motor making noise).

Submit Ticket
Send the video along with your Invoice Copy and Frame Number to support@oaltev.com or our WhatsApp support.

Diagnosis & Replacement
Our engineers will diagnose the issue remotely within 48 hours. If a part is defective under warranty, we will courier a brand new replacement part directly to your address, completely free of charge.

You must register your E-Bike within 15 days of delivery to avail warranty benefits.
