Refund & Returns

Clear. Transparent. Fair.

1. Overview

At Oalt EV Technology Pvt. Ltd., we take immense pride in the engineering and quality of our Electric Cycles. Due to the high value, heavy weight, and specialized logistics involved in shipping Lithium-Ion batteries and E-Bikes, we maintain a strict but fair Return and Refund Policy. Please read this carefully before placing your order.

2. Order Cancellation

We understand that you might change your mind. Our cancellation rules are as follows:

  • Before Dispatch: You can cancel your order anytime before it leaves our manufacturing facility (usually within 24 hours of placing the order). A full 100% refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
  • After Dispatch: Once the E-Bike has been handed over to our logistics partner and the AWB (Tracking number) is generated, orders cannot be cancelled. If you refuse delivery, standard two-way shipping charges (approx. ₹2,000 - ₹3,500 depending on location) will be deducted from your refund.

3. Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery only under specific conditions. To be eligible for a return, your E-Bike must meet the following criteria:

  • The E-Bike must be completely unused and unridden (0 kilometers on the Odometer/LCD display).
  • It must be in its original packaging with all manuals, chargers, battery keys, toolkits, and protective foams intact.
  • The warranty must NOT have been activated on our portal.

*Note: If the cycle shows any signs of road usage, mud, or physical wear, the return request will be immediately rejected and the bike will be shipped back to you at your expense.

4. Damaged Goods & Dead on Arrival (DOA)

While we use premium, shock-absorbent packaging, transit damage can rarely occur. To protect yourself, please follow our strict unboxing protocol:

Mandatory Unboxing Video

You MUST record a continuous, unedited video while opening the package for the first time. If there is any physical damage, missing parts, or if the product is Dead on Arrival (DOA), this video will serve as proof.

Without a clear unboxing video, no claims for transit damage or missing items will be entertained.

If a valid claim is raised within 24 hours of delivery with video proof, Oalt EV will arrange for a free replacement of the damaged part or the entire E-Bike at no extra cost to you.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Standalone Lithium-Ion Batteries (due to safety and shipping regulations).
  • E-Bike Conversion Kits once the seal has been broken or installation attempted.
  • Helmets, riding gear, or customized accessories.
  • Gift cards and promotional vouchers.

6. The Refund Process

If your return is approved and the product reaches our warehouse, it will undergo a technical inspection by our engineering team.

Refund Timeline

  • Inspection: Takes 24-48 hours after the product reaches our Delhi facility.
  • Processing: Once cleared, refunds are processed within 2-3 business days.
  • Credited: Funds reflect in your original bank account/UPI within 5-7 working days depending on your bank.
